California Psychics is a well branded and very large psychic network that may have outgrown its prime. A one time leader in psychic readings, it appears that the company has started down a road of poor customer service and questionable business practices.
In Defense of California Psychics
Several customers give excellent reviews about California Psychics in forums and online message boards. I've personally had a decent experience with the company, at least nothing to complain about. California Psychics has a screening process for all their psychics and requires previous experience.
Something is Fishy
Every single review on californiapsychics.com for their psychics is "amazing"... This begs the question, does California Psychics modify user feedback? The likely answer is yes based on consumer complaint forums. There are also accusations that the company offers incentives to their psychics to keep callers on the phone, regardless of whether or not the psychic is done with the reading... more money. Customer Service has also received a bad reputation with accusations of unauthorized credit card charges.
In the end, these claims are hard to substantiate and may or may not be indicitive of the company as whole. In the end, I would probably go elsewhere and not bother to find out.
